Out of this World Pizza: The pizza and the rest of the place actually is out of this world

As the end of baseball season ends, my youngest had her end of the year party first. They decided to have it Out of this World Pizza and I have to admit I had never heard of the place before then. To be honest when I got the invitation I thought they had made a mistake. It was on the outskirts of Hillsboro, OR and in the middle of a heavy industrial area. (Not the place you would expect to find a huge pizza place)

So, we went not knowing what to expect at all. Well I do have to say I was really surprised to get to the address and find a warehouse with the name Out of the World Pizza on the front. Then we walked in and it took up the whole building! It was a giant playhouse for kids and boy were my kids happy! (I think I saw them for maybe 10 minutes during the next two hours and that was to get my daughters trophy and them to eat a piece of pizza. Which I was pleasantly surprised by as usually kid’s pizza tastes like cardboard with ketchup on it to me.

The only thing I can say bad about the place is that it wasn’t cheap! The Pizza, drinks and entrance costs all came to a total of $62! Certainly not a place I would take my kids again soon. I would have to say despite the kids having fun and the pizza being great, because of the cost it just isn’t a place I will probably go again unless my kids are having another event there and we have to go.

Great looking place, but how many people did the $62 pay for? That is crazy. I thought $30 for the fun and terrible pizza that Chuck E Cheese has was too much. LOL

Have a great week.

I had to google the place to find out more. It looks like a great place for kids, but I agree that the price is going to be a deterrent to most families.

Todd, sure looks like an interesting concept.  But the location and price are suspect.  Let us know in 6 months if it's still in business.

Todd. I think many of these attraction- theme food places probably know they are not going to get a huge return visit...but a good word and an occasional visit my be their business plan (and profit strategy).

Is it a restaurant or an event? Some businesses don't define it very well anymore...
May the rest of your week be great Todd!

All I can say is that's probably the most unique pizza place I've ever seen. Expensive, yes. But very unique!

Out of this world is a fun place to camp out while our kids are having a ball. I carry my laptop and enjoy the time.

Todd - Out of this World Pizza looks like an awesome place for kids, but $62 for a family of five is very expensive for pizza.  You didn't have a few orders of shrimp cocktail did you?

Don't get me wrong it was fun, just very, very expensive for what it was.
