I've had clients who have been dumped after 4 to 5 months in a short sale as another all cash buyer moves into the game. It's brutal out there for sure. I'm guessing sales and prices are going to soften further...
I agree, the statistics for experienced and inexperienced agents vary a LOT! I close them too, but it's not easy.
I'll be surprised if more than 5% of short sale listings reach settlement. Most of the figures that we see are just guesses.

Roy. That's why I wrote the article. Hopefully we will get agants from around the country chime in with their stats. In my opinion 5% is way low. Do you work short sales?
