Broadway Lake

Broadway Lake is a 300 acre lake on Broadway Creek in Anderson County in Upstate South Carolina. It is a small lake, not really the lake for a cigarette boat like Hartwell Lake but it is quiet and the water levels are usually higher.

You can find Catfish, Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass and if you believe the news stories that ran in the summer of 2008 there was a gator! But then again if you Google Broadway Lake you will also find a story about a UFO over Broadway lake too! Read more about Broadway Lake SC

Lake Secession

Lake Secession is a 1460 acre man made lake located in Abbeville and Anderson County in Upstate South Carolina. It is owned by the city of Abbeville. It is located 41 miles from Greenville, and about 130 miles from Atlanta. GSP is the closest large airport. Read more about Lake Secession SC.

Hartwell Lake

Hartwell Dam was created by the US Army Corps of Engineers under the Flood Control Act of 1950 which created Hartwell Lake. Hartwell Lake is about 2 hours from Atlanta or Charlotte, and 45 minutes from Greenville. It is one of the southeast's largest and most popular public recreation lakes. Lake Keowee

Lake Keowee is located predominately in Oconee County in Upstate South Carolina, but it also extends into Pickens County. Lake Keowee is a reservoir created by Keowee Dam and Little River Dam and is nestled with beautiful mountain views in almost every direction. The Lake Keowee area is a popular place for boating, fishing, water-skiing, swimming, camping and picnicking. Keowee's depth averages 54 ft but can exceed 150 ft. Read more about Lake Keowee.

Lake Jocassee

Lake Jocassee is located in Upstate South Carolina in a beautiful mountain area. Lake Jocassee has crystal clear water and huge depths up to 300feet! It is a 1700 foot long  lake that is great for boating, skiing, fishing, and any other water activities you can imagine. It was created by the state in a partnership with Duke power in 1973.

Devil's Fork State Park is a great park located on the lake. Devils Fork State Park is located on the eastern slope of the extreme Southern Appalachians. The park is a focal point as the gateway to the Jocassee Gorges Conservation Area which sits between North and South Carolina. A tour by boat to see the waterfalls and rivers cascade from the distant shore across from Devils Fork is highly recommended.
