Liberals Are Determined To Get Their Pound Of Flesh With New HST
The harmonization of the PST and the GST here in Ontario will see you pay to stay healthy or pay Additional Taxes On Funeral Service.
In an article "New Tax Not Healty For Uxbridge" by Jeff Hayward, in the Uxbridge Times Journal last week Dave Passalent, owner of Snap Fitness, felt the new HST was a "tax on health".
Not only will the Tax be applied to Gym Fees it will also be applied to many of the public user fees for a variety of healthy activities such as swimming. Passalent also felt that the additional cost "would discourage marginal users".
Tell Your MPP -- You will hold them accountable at election time.
If you think the HST being applied to healthy activities is a tax on health, let the liberals know what you think of them. Let them know now how it may affect your vote in the next Provincial Election.
