Increasingly markets react to global conditions as lighting communication tools accelerate reactions to events almost as they happen.  One simple act by the rating company Moody's caused stocks to tumlbe and bonds to recoup their losses.  The Dow was up close to 100 points when news came out that Moody's had downgraded Greek debt to junk levels.  The market began to turn sour and slid to a 20 point loss at the close.
