RainTV with Dustin Luther, Galen Ward, Ardell Della Loggia, and Robbie Paplin of Rain City Guide

Caleb Mardini and the ActiveRain Lounge at Inman Real Estate Connect

Thank you all you wonderful Rainers and non-Rainers for coming by to interview with RainTV at the ActiveRain Lounge at Inman's Real Estate Connect! We've been asked when videos will be up: we'll be rolling out a new video every day or two. (For those of you interviewees, the order isn't etched out, but we'll be sending you a head's up when you'll be appearing.)

The ActiveRain Lounge was an absolute blast. It was a place to catch needed down time, connect with other Rainers, munch on yummy snacks, and attempt to blog away. (Truth is, we were having so much fun connecting, some of the blogging got put to the side...)

they replaced the  red carpet with the blue couch!!!!

Sara,

I hope you are willing to give credit where credit is due............had it not been for our first interview before the big wigs starting rolling through the lounge, are we safe to assume there wouldn't have been sound for any of the interviews? haha.........

Shoot, and I thought I said some really groundbreaking stuff...........haha

Roberta, thanks for the hat's off! There was a lot of work to make this happen..

Bob, you said many profound things, in fact, too profound to air! Ok, not really, sorry the sound disappeared for your interview. Most of them turned out wonderfully though (and with sound).

Gary, red doesn't match our logo...heheh

Pete, yes, but right now the price is pinned to the back of a stork.

Sara did such a great job making Lynda Eisenmann and I feel comfortable with our interview.  Great job Sara and thanks to AR for having a wonderful hospitality suite where we could get recharged while our computers were charging up, too!

Hey - who's the handsome looking guy that Gena has her eye on?  Hmmm...notice there's no dandruff on that black jacket? LOL!

Sara, you said...STORK? Am I to assume??????

You all deserve a lot of praise...the lounge and interviews were no easy task each day from dawn to dusk (actually past dusk). Great job on all of your parts. What else would one expect from the best?

I must say that you are the best interviewer I know...and the prettiest one, as well!

Brad,I think that handsome looking guy you are referring to that I was looking at is none other than the incomparable Brad Andersohn.

Hi Brad!!!! For the life of me, I couldn't pin your name (I don't think I got your card, in which event I would have known your name). I even tried picking Jon's brain... I felt sooo bad! Happily, the bloop has been ammened to give due credit.

Gena, you are so kind!!! Caleb did a pretty great job interviewing, too. He's immensely talented in the public arena...

Chris, I'd love to go to Texas.... nothing like the big state!

Jeff, so sorry we missed each other! I always wondered why Jon was so busy when he went to these events, and now I know... I plan on being at every Real Estate Connect I can get to.

Marlene, you and Lynda were excellent interviewees... You gals are going to be terrific to watch!

Cynthia, Monika, Jennifer, and Ann, we want to meet you! You've got to sneak off to one of these events...

LaShon, it's no fun without the Document Diva. It would have been great to interview you. I am sure you have some great stories!

Sara - you are so good!!  Thanks for clearing up the identity crisis I was having!! LOL!

Now, it should read "left-to-right", you currently have it:
Caleb Mardini unwinding with fellow Rainers Paul Chaney, Gena Riede, and Brad Andersohn so it really looks like I'm Caleb!  (wish I was him and had all that money..LOL)

Technically, it should read: Brad Andersohn , Paul Chaney , Caleb Mardini , and Gena Riede.  Also picture 1 is actually picture 2 the way it is layed out in your post.  Me? A perfectionist?  nahnahnah

How's that for picky and pushing my luck... (BIG SMILE)

Thanks for your nice email! :-)

Rain TV.  Nice... I like!

AR continues to amaze me with all the news inovations your team comes up with.

Keep up the good work!  You're making the real estate industry a lot more web-friendly than it has ever been!

FYI: some text is cut off in your blog post while viewing in IE6.

Sara, the friendly home base was an appreciated thing for ActiveRain to do. And you were gracious and smiling to the end, despite "lines" of people waiting to be interviewed. Thanks for everything you do!
