Baseball
Well its official Barry Bonds broke the home-run record. However what price did baseball and professional sports pay for this. I know he is innocent until prov-en guilty, but have you seen this guy when he first came into the league. Its impossible for someone to get that big with out some help from the needle. He was a scrawny kid for a good part of his career, then he all of a sudden is a monster. All of professional sports is in disarray at this point. From baseball to football they all have a scandal going on. What kind of message does this send to the young kids out there who look up to these guys? Take some stuff called the clear or the cream and maybe you can hit 600 home-runs!! Don't get me wrong it takes talent to hit the ball, but it takes power to knock it out of the park. And now Jose Canseco is writing another book!! Why didn't he mention the players he thought were using in his first book? I guess he needs another pay day. Its been going on for years and now it has come to a head. There just doesn't seem to be any pride in sports anymore. These guys are all pampered athletes that make too much money. I'm glad Nike dropped Vick thats the only way these guys will learn is if you hit them in there pocket. The bottom line is who will our kids look up to? A football player accused of staring a huge brawl or the dog fighting Vick. Maybe the juice monster Bonds, or the NBA ref with a gambling problem.
