On Sunday, June 13th 2010 Jimmy Dean passed away at the age of 81. He was a pretty famous country singer in the 50's and 60's but what i will remember him most for, is his wonderful sausage! And in honor of Jimmy Dean this morning, i am about go downstairs and fire up a couple sausage patties. Thanks Jimmy D!

I really don't remember him for his singing career. He was the sausage guy to me.
RIP Jimmy Dean. I vaguely remember hearing him when I was young but I have loved his sausages for years.
I REMEMBER Big Bad John and his TV show(s) b4 sausage career!! He is well loved in VA and will be missed!
I liked Jimmy Dean. I remeber when he introduced the Statler Brothers at their last concert. He said for him every day was ground hog day.
