Holland Real Estate Since the End of the Tax Credits
Holland Massachusetts: Beautiful Waterfront Properties Abound
JUNE 22, 2010: Since the tax credits ended April 30, 2010, what has happened in Holland real estate? Here is a snapshot of the real estate activity in the town of Holland, MA:
Active property listings: Currently 28 single family homes are on the market. Three of those single family homes currently have accepted offers but are accepting back-up offers.
Properties under contract: There are 7 single family properties under agreement. Two of those were under contract before the April 30 tax credit deadline. No condos are under agreement as of today.
Properties sold: Since May 1, 2010, 5 single family homes have sold in Holland. Only one of those was under contract before the April 30 tax credit deadline. Very interesting.
Summary: The Holland real estate market continues to move forward. Less than half of the pending sales in Holland were before the tax credit deadline. Since Holland is a lakefront community, it is encouraging that properties are going under contract after the tax credit deadlines have passed.
