Dogfest - A day to benefit animals in need at Baltimore Humane Society. Activities include: photo contests, dog swimming, games, 1 mile pledge walk and door prizes. Held at Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, 9am - 6pm, 410-561-7666

New Balance Baltimore Women's Classic 5K - BWC is the second longest, consecutively running all-women's event in the entire country. BWC promotes women's health. Funds raised go to women in need of support while undergoing gyn/oncological treatment through Mercy Hospital. Run, walk or volunteer. Race begins and ends at Rash Field Baltimore'sInner Harbor, 8am. 410.308.1870
