60 Minutes with RE/MAX

We were taught in the Broker/Owner training that each office should host a 60 minutes with RE/MAX once a year. I'm not saying it's ineffective (since I personally haven't tried it) but I've never heard of anyone that has done one which makes me wonder if there is any value in it.  I've asked other brokers if they would be interested in combining efforts but haven't yet found anyone that's interested. 

Is this a realistic use of funds for marketing or is it a waste of time?  If anyone has hosted one and would like to share their experience, I'd be grateful.  I'd prefer to have as much information as possible before deciding whether or not to go for it.  I'm not usually one to write something off before trying it but it seems odd to me that I don't know of a brokerage that has followed the RE/MAX recruiting model.  Anyone care to share your thoughts on doing a 60 minutes presentation?
