Fontana is helping local families get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July by inviting them to attend a safe, family-friendly event packed with activities and entertainment at the Auto Club Speedway. Tickets are on sale beginning June 1, 2010, at all Fontana community centers. Tickets are $7 for residents and children under age 12 can attend free.
The City of Fontana is committed to providing a safe place for residents to celebrate and enjoy the Fourth of July for the second year in a row by partnering with the Auto Club Speedway, and CBS Radio to offer one of the largest and most spectacular Independence Day celebrations in the Inland Empire, "Red, White & Cruise" presented by Pepsi and Stater Bros.
This year's event will include a Car Cruise and the Stars & Pipes Motorcycle ride, activity zones (Kids Zone, a Patriot Zone), a classic car show, live music (rock, jazz, oldies, country), Freestyle Motocross demos, community parade, and vendors. In addition to all the activities at the event, you'll have the opportunity to see the Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall better known as "The Moving Wall".
