Salt Spring Island real estate news - Open House? What is an OPEN HOUSE? A open house is what agent all over the world do on weekends to show buyers the homes that are for sale. Now I know there has been very few open houses on the island before but I think people will like it.

The concept is so simple I just don't know why there have been so few on the island. It just seem so natural to go out and look at homes that are for sale.

So now that I'm a listing agent not just a buying agent any more I have embraced the OPEN HOUSE and I'm going to make it my number one marketing thrust. So feel free to come out and visit my Open House this weekend at 180 Brittancourt Dr. 12 -2 sat & sun.

Scott,  I am surprised there have been few "open houses" on Salt Spring.  I would have thought they were the norm. 

Especially, for all of us mainlanders who love to flock to the Gulf Islands, and think about buying property there.

It seem as if I have started a trend one of the other agent is having an open house this weekend. I can not figure out why there has never been open houses. It's like the lock boxes no one else uses them. It is a real pain to have to track down keys so time consuming and it looks real hokey when you have customers waiting.
