Trying to close by June 30 to get your tax credit in Brunswick, Georgia....you may get a break until September 30, 2010

Home buyers in Brunswick, Georgia (and everywhere else in the U.S. for that matter) who contracted to purchase a home prior to April 30, 2010 and qualified for the $8000 (first time home buyers) or $6500 (move up buyers) Federal Housing Tax Credit may get an extension.  As lenders, builders, attorneys, title companies and real estate professionals struggle to get these homes ready to close, if the Senate passed a bill allowing an extension of the closing date until September 30, 2010. 

Please contact your senator for encourage this passing of this bill.

You are correct.  There is a bill in the senate that has not passed and interested parties should contact their senators.
