Our last membership meeting for the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORS was last week. The "Special Guest" was 8 REALTORS for a "Superstar Panel".
We all learned a LOT from these top performers.
Mostly, we learned that there was no "silver bullet" - that is, one single secret to success.
I knew in the back of my head that really they were all successful because each one had a good sense of the importance of Lead Generation . . . and each one did it in a very different way . . . from throwing "food and drink" parties . . . to hanging with friends . . . to deliberate, daily Lead generation.
Whatever each one of those folks was doing, it was WORKING.
Here's what I learned about this particular set of top performers that I have a sneaky suspicion might be a trait of most all top performers . . .
these folks had a skewed perception of PRIORITIES.
When asked about balance of life, most of them admitted to not having that - at all.
Most admitted that there was no real rhythm to what they do . . . they go with the flow and when things are busy, they work 24/7, and when things are less busy, they take time away to recharge.
Whiile that may work for that group (and many top performers), I sensed in them a desire for a better FLOW . . . those busy times were SO exhausting . . . and the slow times frightening.
I just wanted to gather them up off the stage and bring them back to my office for some good old fashioned coaching about the importance of BALANCE and TIME BLOCKING . . . and REALLY putting everything they do in proper perspective such that they have PRIORITIES well defined.
figure those pieces out . . . and you'll find that you can actually perform BETTER and sell a higher volume of real estate . . .
With less effort . . .
I'm just sayin'
Best,
b
