"Strawberry with cream, please".

One of the pure pleasures of summer is a good snow-cone.  When I'm out and about during the day, it is not uncommon to visit one of my favorite snow-cone stands. They are all over the area so it is not hard to take a break from the heat by enjoying an old fashioned snow-cone.

What's you favorite flavor?

As I stare at the various offerings on the sign at the drive through, I am always tempted to go for something other than my standard strawberry or blueberry with cream.

I truly do consider going out on a limb and ordering something exotic like "Wedding Cake", "Tiger's Blood", "Cotton Candy", and "Cajun Red Hot", or even "Barney". As a kid, my favorite was "Rainbow" because I liked them all and would never commit to one flavor. Times have changed.

Oh well, "Strawberry with cream, please".

Melanie, I know what you mean. The Frito Pie has been calling my name!

Paige, armed with your recommendation, I'll try to get out of my shell and give "Dreamside" a try!

Julissa, glad to be of service!

Marilyn, have not tried to Boudin!

Carl and Ceil, we'll have to add "snowconing" to the list if y'all ever get this way!

I never heard of half or these flavors - are you kidding me?  Even if it's virgin sign me up for a margarita sno-kone!  Okay, seriously?  I think you should write a blog post explaining what some of that is on the menu for those of us not in the area - Frito Pie?  Boudin Links?  CLUELESS!! (but adventurous)

Leesa, to honor your request would mean that I would have to order each of those items in order to take a photo. Then, I'd be compelled to eat said item. Then, because I'm at a snow cone stand, it just wouldn't be right to not get a snow cone for desert. Sounds like you're asking a lot....

hmmmmmm.......OK!

Judi, snow coning is not a bad outing.  When my nephew comes to town, we always hit the snow cone stand.
