It was Friday afternoon, and I had just finished reading an Active Rain blog about the best day to list a home.  The general consensus was that the Friday before the weekend was the best time to list.

Well, I had all of the listing agreements and paperwork signed on this listing but the yard wasn't in good condition.  I told the seller that I would get a sign up that day or the next but all of a sudden it was Sunday evening and I had not been by the home to see if the grass had been mowed.

The seller called me on Sunday, "Hey Todd, what's the deal, I don't have sign in my yard?"  I told him that I had left a message for him to call me to confirm that the grass had been mowed before I took pictures.

Nevertheless, on Monday morning I took the pictures and put the sign in the yard.  On Tuesday morning I had an acceptable contract.

So, would that mean that Monday is a better day to list??
