Coming Soon...Zealtor Realty.

After months of working on this logo concept, I've finally arrived at the finished product. I wanted to create an image that portrayed fun, diversity, and uniqueness. I think this logo gives the impression that I desired.

In a few weeks, Zero Commission Real Estate will return to its original business model as a for sale by owner site. My partner and I have decided to sell the name, website, and all federal trademark registrations, or to just put the company on the backburner for awhile.

I will be launching Zealtor(r) Realty in the next few weeks. The business mode will be an "alternative model," and will allow the consumer to have much more freedom in his or her selection of real estate services.

It seems to me the "Zealtor" is too close to "Realtor" to not be trademark infringement. What did your attorney say about this?

Todd, brilliant name. I'll withhold judgment on the business model.

I guess you have to sell the name to generate som income, since you get ZERO COMMISSION on each transaction.

Good luck with selling your other business/domain! I am curious about what Dan said. I think your logo is far from the Realtor logo but they can be finicky!

By no commission, does that mean you offer flat fee itemized services? Kinda like cable tv ? :^)

Well very close to realtor, google's color scheme and cant remember what company has that similar Z. Doesnt seem like an original logo, just a hodge podge of other companies logos. Plus zero commission as an agent, doesnt sound like a great idea or maybe I would support it but you should explain to us what it's about before you have a lynch mob after you. Pushing your business model on a realtor driven site that promote's 0 commission.

For Pete's Sake... You might have Realtor and Zillow together in that, are you going to offer zeroestimates too.... LOL

Add a little REALTOR and a little Google... and poof... new logo.

Dan - the name is registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. That's why I can use the "R".

Brian - thanks for the compliment, however, I think you would approve of the new business model. Remember, the new model has nothing to do with the old company, which will be obsolete in a few weeks.

Al - Amen. I finally figured out that you have to charge something to stay in business. ;)

Renee - well, at least I'm a licensed REALTOR(r) and active member of all of the associations. Maybe they won't get too finicky.

Heather - I'm not really concerned about getting your support. Maybe if you would have taken the time to read any of my over 100 blogs, or looked at Zero Commission you would understand. However, as I said, Zero Commission is a flat fee company that's getting out of the real estate business.

Mary - For enough money, Mary, I'm might offer just about anything. LOL

Lane - think I could get away with being the REALTOR(r) for colorful people? Actually, the logo was born from the Z that was created when we created the logo for Zero Commission. I have this fascination with the letter Z. Zany?

Can we please stop with the zarcasm. Zodd has a zerious plan and I for one find it zinteresting. In fact, I propose most of his Zarketing includes a zufficient amout of Z's to clearly brand himself.

Take the idea and run Zodd. Zest of zuck.
