Nice job! Most remodels are not painless or pleasant. You are very lucky that it was a good experience. Looks great.
Well that was pretty fast, the quicker the better, long drawn out remodels put your marriage in jeopardy...LOL Very nice and cool of you to blog about the fine folks who did the work
A really fast transformation! It looks great. Sometimes, remodels drag on forever and cease to be fun, but not yours.
Looks great and they got it done pretty quick!
Michael...yes, it does look great & so much fun to experience the change; we had worked with this Building & Remodeling co before with this time on our personal Home. would endorse to anyone desiring a change.
We ARE very lucky through this process; the only snafu was 1 fixture sent missing parts- one fixture not ordered & having to reorder 1 piece of trim for Kitchen cabinets. That's ALL that went wrong. La Fata Cabinet Co. is a good company; Sal had worked with them-their product when in New Construction
Thanks for stopping by & Happy Father's Day to you.

Gerry...the entire process was swift--started with choices in late March; the cabinet makers were swamped this time span [[GOOD for them] & that was a 5 week hold; everything then started directly after Memorial Day with the delivery of cabinets; Scott's checking & picking up all sundries; Scott & Gary's work starting Thursday 3 June; it went quickly after that. The fine folks we mentioned were really first class--of course, we had all kinds of treats & Pop / Vitamin waters out for them AND they Did NOT break for Lunch.
Thanks for coming across. Happy Father's Day to you. Oh, you see Sal & I have our own offices here in the Home--his in the Back & mine in the Basement--when we 'felt the pain'-we disappeared LOL

Carra ...it does look great--so great that we are re-thinking our plans to market our Home this year. LOL will have to think on those plans as we still do want to move to FL. See the note on our offices in my answer to Gerry above--that "distance" really works AND we never were the type of couple who felt the need to be joined at the hip s0-to-speak; this is probably because we did not meet until well into our late 20's. LOL ?????
Thanks for the comment & if you do celebrate--have a great Father's Day celebration.

Drew.. It really does shine and we love it. Since you have met us & know our 'dynamics' must say that I really didn't want light cabinets as I am partial to the richness of the dark woods--but SAL was right; this Kitchen looks great with the Cappuccino-colored cabinets. The Granite was my choice tried to match / blend with tile flooring.
Happy First Father's Day to you.
