Dear President Calderon,

I am planning to move my family (my wife is currently pregnant) and extended family into Mexico.  We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas and passports. Please note that I will be expecting the following:

  1. Free medical care for my entire family 

  2. All Mexican government forms need to also be printed in English


  3. Schools need to include classes on American culture and history


  4. I want my kids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school


  5. Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch


  6. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services


  7. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but I don't plan to purchase car insurance

  8. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top and I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals


  9. I also expect to find a job without paying any taxes


10. Please tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say a critical thing about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy

Great post, Terry.  Do you think he'll take heed?  Maybe our current President could put in a good word for us U.S. citizens and taxpayers.

He will not heed. 

He is not the President of the wealthy neighbor where gross domestic product per person far outdistances that of the neighbor. (By margins only exceeded across a land border in two places in the world: Isreal/Palestine & South Korea/North Korea.)

He is not the President of the most dominant culture on the planet. 

He is not the President of the nation that stole several southwesten states from its neighbor (in a trumped up war that Abraham Lincoln said the then president lied us into).

 

If he was, he could be expected to listen.

I don't expect to hear from him.  I didn't hear from MLB Commissioner Bud Selig from an earlier post either.  It just bewilders me that these people don't respond to my chastising.  I'm only a Verizon call away (no charge In-Network).

Terry, what an awesome post.  You are not sugar coating anything and that is great.  As long as we keep giving away the ship, our anchor will always be dropped and we will never get out of port to bring the US economy back again.
