There are agents that shy away from Facebook, or ActiveRain, or LinkedIn, or any other type of social media. The most common reason I get, is that they feel that they are not funny, or witty, or have one-liners that will make people read them. Or that they will run out of stuff to talk about.
Interesting question.
Think about the last 24-48 hours you spent on Facebook... Well, I hope you weren't on Facebook the whole time! What I mean, is look who posted comments on your posts. Who wished you a happy birthday? Who clicked "I like" on one of our posts?
Now thinking of them, after they did that to your post, did you notice them more often when they posted something? Say they posted a picture or a quote, were you more likely to click like or comment on them back?
The thing is, if you scan the "wall" for fun things, click like, comment on people posts, re-post their stuff, post pictures and tag them in them, you will get more people looking at the stuff you post. It's a reciprocal thing on a subconscious level.
Try it out, and let me know what you think! That way, you don't have to be the funniest person on the block! You also don't (or shouldn't) be all about real estate either!
If you become interested enough in them, they will actually comment on silly posts that you make, like this one I made a few days ago!
