Does Facebook get boring to some people?

Facebook

Interesting question.  Not to me, I enjoy the social aspects to Facebook as well as the massive business building sides to it as well.  So let me explain where I am going with the question.

When we first started using Facebook, we had a few friends and were able to keep up with everyone's posts, and thoughts, and knew what everyone was doing and saying.  It was fun, it was new, it was exciting...  As time passed, we started to read less and less of what was posted on our wall, due to the sheer volume of information that was shared.  Not to mention the adds, and likes, and friend requests - It all seems to get lost in the shuffle sometimes.

However, when you see pictures on a post, we snap into gear and check them out.  It seems that we all love to view pictures of our friends and family.

Soon, video will appear more often, and will (for some) be the desired choice of viewing.

Take for example the MLS.  It used to be "ms dos" based and had no pictures, not one.  And we all loved it.  Then came pictures...  Then we hated the ones without the pictures.  NAR states that listings with pictures have the greatest amount of lookers.

So the same goes with Facebook.  Snap pictures here and there, and post em.  Tag your friends in em.  You will be amazed how people will react!  Post non-work related pictures as well!

I don't find Facebook boring at all, I just wanted to share something that I am doing that increases interactions.

Just some thoughts!  What is working for you?  Are you using pictures and/or video?

I'm not a fan of the likes and dislikes or who became friends, but pictures do really say 1000 words.

Also, I think your profile picture makes me smile every time.
