Welcome to Active Rain Alina... have fun in the game.

We joined last November and have found that the Rainmaker outside blog combined with Localism have worked well for us…. getting us better page placement on Google searches within neighborhoods. Worth checking out. 

It is also a good idea to use a lot of pictures in your post from the area you cover to get and hold people's attention...they shy away from reading blocks of text.

A side benefit of AR is learning from other folks’s social media creativity and making friends for future referrals. Here is a good place to start: Learning  to use Active Rain

It rained, and rained and rained.... how appropriate.

WELCOME TO THE RAIN..... Yesterday's event was the baptism to your beginning on AR. I'm truly honoured that you choose my fundraiser to construct your first post. I'm thrilled to see you on AR because I know you will be an insightful addition to our community.

It was very late last night when we got home form the park, the clean up, and so forth.... and our feet were still wet. No matter, it was for a great cause, and great energy shared by all. It motivated you to write... another benefit of the day.

I read the dedication you wrote in my book. I now know why you attended yesterday and both Nella and I were moved by the inscription. We know by those few words that you're are a caring and sensitive soul. I'm so happy to know you...
