How to attract buyers - Justin Bieber tickets?

By

KB Homes has devised an interesting way to get buyers to check out their Vegas area homes. Anyone who stops in for a visit prior to July 5th will be entered in a drawing to win a four pack of tickets to see Justin Bieber in concert on July 24th at Planet Hollywood on the strip.

Have no idea who Justin Bieber is? Don’t worry, your children do. Bieber is the latest teen pop sensation sweeping the country.

The thought behind the promotion is that it will attract families to visit the homes.

Two Questions:

1.) Incentives are always a great way to get people in the door (literally), but do you think this particular one it will work?

2.) What’s the most interesting thing you’ve done or heard of to attempt to attract buyers?

What do you think?

Hey Mike, sometimes it feels iike it is hard to get people in the door.  I'm anxious to hear how the ticket idea works.  Let us know.

Imagine if you could get him to come PLAY at an open house haha your turn out would be mind blowing!

...... Thats it! That is going to be my new marketing ploy. I just need to call his agent, and fork out a hefty chunk.

Mike,

I can just see a thousand teens bugging parents to do anything to get these tickets.

I didn't know Justin Bieber until he showed up as a Guest singer on American Idol. I think I'm losing touch!

No amount of incentives can bring in more traffic than a correctly priced home. If spending some money could bring in more traffic, why dont just reduce the price by the amount? Nothing sells faster than a price priced in the buyer's eyes as "VALUE" - Price well for the features it offers.

I call incentives GIMMICKS. I cut through to the chase, get down straight to the point - THE PRICE.

I bet it will work...at least as far as getting feet across the threshold. Justin is quite popular with the younger set and Vegas tickets are probably quite a carrot. Who would say no to the kids if they wanted to enter a contest to win tickets. No difference. Take a drive, walk thru the house and enter the drawing. In the mean time, one or two moms and dads might be intrigued enough to check out the new home opportunity. Sounds well thought out to me! (Plus I bet they get everybody's email address in th eprocess...)

Mike, I think it may get people to come to the open house. Don't know how many will be buyers though. Let us know how it works out.

I love the idea and it doesn't violate RESPA. Way 2 go. It's nice to see a REALTOR using their BRAIN once in a while instead of whining how bad the market is. I salute your "out of the box thinking."

IMO, it might work better if the tickets were something that the actual potential buyer would be interested in!  No whiny kid is going to convince me to visit an open house so that they could be entered into a contest.  Just my opinion!  Would be interested to hear how it works out.
