Patrick White (Home Driven Realty, Inc):  This is an extremely considerate post, Patrick, and it's a great way to help connect with your local area.

While it's unfortunate that only a few people will take advantage of the info in your post (not that many people like reading, much less children), there is a really good chance that you're going to reach someone who wants this info.  You might have made a difference in that child's life, especially if this finds a parent who cares but doesn't know.

Great job!

Patrick,

I am glad to see Baldwin is educating the kids with this great summer program. Less TV and more books is the way.

thanks

Good Morning Akil,

Thanks for the post.  A ceremony usually takes place at the end of the programs where a local legislator gives an additional award to the kids. The Library and the School District really run a great program.

Thanks again and have a great day.

Patrick:  Giving an award to the kids is a really nice touch.  I know that I liked it as a kid.  (Heck, I know some adults who STILL like these!)

It seems like an excellent program run by excellent people with a great plan.  I wish I could write THAT sentence more often!

We're finally going to get a new main library in downtown San Diego after spending $250,000 annually to study it for the last 20 years. They could have built it with just the money they spent studying whether or not they could build it. Governments......................
