Mitchell, Prior to reading this I never really gave any thought to the maintenance that goes into statues and monuments. Glad to hear NYC is taking care of the monuments.
Hi Mitchell... the New York City Parks and Recreation people really do an outstanding job. I understand the pigeons but it sort of annoys me that they have to deal with damage caused by people.
Mitchell, they're getting a bath! Right in front of everyone! Glad to see them keeping up appearances in NYC!
Mitchell when statutes are clean they are more appealing, and I suspect will stay in good shape longer.
It can be easy to take our monuments for granite; nice to see these are well cared for.
