A little Starbucks go's a long way!

Whenever I can, I like to celebrate life's good news with my client friends.  Last week through a friend, I found out that one of my sellers had been promoted at work.  I simply sent her a card with a Starbucks gift card in it and said how happy I was for she and her family. 

She hasn't stopped thanking me for a week.  That's worth ten bucks every stinkin time.  It doesn't hurt that we show her house every day either.

I did that recently with a Dairy Queen certificate.  It made someone smile and made me feel good to do it.

Hi Todd,

You are right about Starbucks.  During Soccor season when my daughter has early morning games, I provide coffee for all the parents.  In addition, I take photo's of the game and send them to all the parents with my company logo.  I've had very postive feedback and the parents love seeing pics of their kids in action.
