Well here goes nothing.....

Having stumbled upon Active Rain I have decided that I will too join the masses of real estate professionals who blog for fun and potential profits. This first post is simply a quick effort to tell myself that it is not too painful and that if the post is read by anyone that they will be kind in their comments (Now that you have read that you will be kind right?)

I am confident that I will find topics of interest and value to contribute to the site. I am hopeful that I will meet and network with others who share similar interests and values. I know it will be nothing short of interesting.

Interesting yes - ... addicting - absolutely. I had never written a blog before Tuesday and now find myself thinking about what I will write next. People in my office are scared of me as I have made it clear that they are all to accept my invitations to join and quickly (I can't help it - anything with points that feels like a game brings out the competitiveness in me). Besides that the fantastic scope of information on here has been amazing. I have gotten so many great tips for marketing online that I have already put into use. It's pretty cool. Welcome aboard : )

Scott, this is addictive, but over time you will realize that you have to take care of your customers first, your family too -- the first while, I was like others, I could not stop thinking about this and so many things come to me now and I think "is this bloggable" -- good luck fighting the addiction.
