Sunrise, Florida Information

SunriseThe City of Sunrise covers 22 square miles, has a population of 90,000 and is conveniently located in the heart of the tri-county area with easy access to all major highways in Broward County. 

The City of Sunrise is home to Sawgrass Mills (Florida's largest retail and entertainment complex) as well as the Bank Atlantic Center - the second largest arena in the country and home to the NHL's Florida Panthers ice hockey team. 

Some of the larger communities in Sunrise include the Residences of Sawgrass Mills, Welleby and Sunrise Golf Village.  Two communities currently under construction are Artesia and Tao.  Sunrise offers several amenities, including a world-class tennis club, golf courses, a soccer club, playgrounds and municipal swimming pools.
