22 Comments on Tankless Water Heaters, an Eco-friendly Solution!
great info, did I tell you that I lived in nuevo Laredo ? borderline with Laredo, tx ? :) I believe so, but I do not remember, take care :)

Stephanie, thanks for the kudos, coming from a Eco-friendly expert I value them highly!!!
Marcel, I always drool over their clean lines in a house and have found the clients that get them to be VERY happy.
Missy, I think they might work slightly better in our relatively balmy weather for a whole house, but others are chiming in with colder climates...
Paula, they are wonderful! Gadgety enough for the geeks and conservative enough to warm everyones hearts!
Joanne, glad to hear from someone using them!!!
Ray, my husbands aunt and uncle live in Laredo, Paul Young, the car dealer....
Chris,
Oh my goodness, I'm so happy to read your info, sorry to say I know so little about these. If it's o.k. with you I'd love to link to this post.
Thanks so much!
Thesa, it really is neat, isn't it? Too cool, and too gadgety~
Ashley, thanks for stopping by!
Lynda, I would be honored if you linked to it! Let's get the information out
Maggie, they are actually VERY attractive compared to water heaters, aren't they...
Tom, me too! I'm already checking around though I have another 5 years probably.
Mana, lots of companies install them in California, check some of them out.
I remember that dealership :) sometimes I went over there :) , that's good to know !!

These are great devices, Chris. They were becoming very common back East when I lived there. Thanks for sharing this along with the useful information for consumers. Great localism post.
Jeff
Terri, they are great according to my clients that have them.
Ray, we are the poor relatives :)
Jeff, thanks for stopping by!!!
Susie, according to the folks that have them, if they are installed properly it is an "endless" supply of hot water!
Chris,
I remember this, Paul Young Auto Mall !!!! :) on the local radio and I believe the local t.v. :)

I have a tankless WH at my home, my office and at 3 of our rentals. They can work well, but we encountered a LOT of issues when installing them. I have a web page up where I discuss some of the problems we have encountered, and how to avoid them. It also has a link to an OA Smith white paper on calculating the payback of tankless heaters:
