Whenever I leave my home, I'm always on the lookout for several things.

First, of course, are bad drivers, typically those who are shaving, brushing their teeth, putting on makeup, combing their hair in the mirror, talking on the phone, or even worse, looking down to text on their phone.

Second, cool things to take pictures of, and that could be anything relating to nature or man.

Today I had the privilege of talking to an angel:

Call an angel!

Since I was right behind this Angel at a traffic signal, and it said to call, and the phone number was right there, well, I called to tell them how cool I thought their name and tagline were.

Russel ~ so what was the response when you called?  I wonder how may times they receive a call like yours?

lol thats funny Russel!  I will share with you the sign on a billboard in Lake Charles, honk if you love Jesus, text while driving if you want to meet him---that is what I thought of first when I saw your post I thought you had an Angel encounter!

So, you were "touched" by an angle, Russel.  Cool!  I have to tell you, though, that the photo in the upper right corner of your blog post freaked me out a little.  I couldn't tell what exactly it was.  At first, it looked like some freaky mouse with no eyes.  Next it turned into a beaver of some sort with no teeth (I don't know).  Then I saw a fuzzy snake.  That was when I realized it was an extreme closeup of a sweet little paw.  I think I need to go lay down because, obviously, my brain needs some rest. :)

Good morning Russel,

You are right it is a great logo but I also want to know what they said when you called!

Hey, Dawn - The lady I talked to, who was not the driver of the vehicle, laughed when I told her why I was calling. She said that they get a lot of calls commenting on the name of the company and needing carpets cleaned. She did sound just a little disappointed that I wasn't calling to set up a carpet cleaning appointment. LOL. I suspect they are not lacking for business. A great name and a great tagline can make for a very successful business.

Hey, Marilyn - I've seen similar signs here about driving drunk if you want to meet Jesus.

Hey, Heather - Since you posted at 11:45 p.m., I suspect you just needed a little break.

Hey, Roger and Terry - The lady I talked to told me that the owner's name was Angel, which in Spanish is not pronounced angel like the winged creatures. Instead it's more ahn-hel. I figured that was the case before I called, but the tagline was really creative.

Hey, Maria - We all need laughter in our lives.

It is all in a name! Love it and bet the lady answering your call, liked it too. Oh "Touched by an Angel" I hadn't thought of that in a while. It was one of my favorites. Now off to look for reruns!

Russel.....That is a very unusual name.  I imagine they get alot of comments regarding how they came up with it.  Did they give you any insight when you called?

Hey, Carra - The owner's name is Angel. Of course, in Spanish it's not pronounced like the flying creature.
