QR code is similar to BAR code idea and  was created by Japanese company to quickly bring information on a smart phone screen. Suppose a potential buyer drives up to the listing and wants to know more about it. Right now he or she has several choices: call the number on the sign -  the listing agent, pull the flyer out of the box, go the listing agent's website, type a direct URL, some allow to txt for info, google it, etc. All these actions require at least a couple of steps or several minutes to accomplish. Granted, a couple of minutes is not so much, even in today's high paced life. However, what about the new generation who call 3g network too slow ? Will they have the patience to even get out of the car or search on google?

Enter QR code. Simply launch your FREE QR reader ap - and point your phone toward the box. Wallah- here comes a listing with all the info a buyer may need. In fact, it could be whatever the listing agent wants a buyer to see - whether it is a listing URL, simple text, photo, or a phone number.

Do you think it is far fetched? Maybe. I decided to have it on my sign, car, business cards and other materials. At least I might get a call from the buyer who will ask: What in the world that little box mean? I have a chance to explain:-)

don't.
