Thanks for the response to the blog on 100's... My friends on Active rain, you inspire me more than you could possibly know...
Here is something interesting about using bodyweight exercises such as the hindu squats and hindu push-ups. There is an awesome learning curve. I suppose you can coin it to learning to ride a bike or learning as an adult to roller blade. I watch kids as they are learning new things that involve physical awareness and God-Given ability. It seems that they never stray and keep going until it is mastered.
For example, take jumping rope. I watch children do it and it is without effort. They have the ability to go all day. When I first started I could go no more than 50 jumps without missing. I am about at 300 presently for my first volley. But muscle fatigue and the "sucking-wind" factor sets in about that point. 10 minutes of jumping rope is equivalent to 30 minutes of jogging. Not a bad trade. And they say it does not have the "severe" impact that running does on your joints. But once again the learning curve is huge for us as adults.
Cranking out a focused 500 hindu squats takes me about 17-26 minutes depending on the day and how I have been sleeping, eating, and hydrating. 250 hindu push-ups is quite a feat and takes even longer. But after some more time I will be able to crank the hindu push-ups out like the hindu squats.
We all have our demons, bad habits and things which we would like to escape from. It is just a matter of wanting it bad enough, seeing it happen, then allowing yourself, by your own permission, to get there.
My goals, as yours are, are extremely personal. I have failed many times in the past. But as Babe Ruth said, when asked how he could so consistently hit home runs, "I have a good forgetter I guess." He never remembered the many times at bat that he struck out. He only looked at the next time at plate, as if factually, he was going to hit a home run.
If we could all have such good forgetters...

I went to the site and it looks like isometric exercises. They are incredible and you don't need many to get you fit. I have heard that gym machines don't give you the strength that these types of exercises do. Skipping rope! Surprisingly hard
