Reflective House Signs Going Up
The reflective house signs members of the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department sell to residents are going up in price.
Due to increased costs from their manufacturer the signs will cost $15 each, starting Sept. 1. They are currently $12 each.
The reflective house signs can help resident state troopers and members of the fire department find a home, especially on a dark night.  “We offer these signs as a community service, with the small profit going towards the restoration of our old 1937 Ford Sanford fire truck,” Deputy Fire Chief Bruce DeGray said.  Harvey Desruisseaux, who chairs the Antique Fire truck Restoration Fundraising Committee~ said he hopes that those who do not yet have reflective signs will order one during August.  “We will be able to continue selling the reflective markers for $12, but after Sept. 1, we have no choice but to raise the price to $15,” he said. The signs come in two background colors, blue or green, Residents can pick up an order form at Company One OII Main Street or in the Town Clerk’s Office at 15 Gilead St.
