I've done my fair share of traveling around the world, but of all the places I have been, nothing compares to living amidst the majestic beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Silverdale, Washington, is strategically located in the center of the Kitsap Peninsula, surrounded by the waters of Puget Sound.

All the crabs, clams, oysers, and salmon you can eat?  Navy town?  Sounds like a good place to be!

Nice post Rich.  I do have a suggestion though.  Cut down on the number of tags a bit, less is more. Nice pics to tie it together too. -Charles

When 9/11 happened, we were living in Edmonds -by-the-Sea. We took the ferry and I climbed down into the deep gorge and felt that Beauty still existed in the world. You just reminded me about how very much I love where you live.

Very nice pictures of your area. Have you ever ate a blue crab from the Mississippi Gulf Coast?
