Restaurants in San Marcos - Love Boat Sushi
I am a big fan of sushi, so an invitation to lunch at Love Boat Sushi in San Marcos was most welcome.
There are a ton of restaurants in San Marcos, and Love Boat Sushi is well worth a visit, plus they offer other dishes on their lunch menu as well (chicken, noodles, beef) in case you are not a fan of sushi.
Of course they are best known in San Diego for their sushi, and Love Boat Sushi does it very well.
You can enjoy their sushi bar or sit at a table, with efficient, friendly service. And with the number of choices on the menu, it's not easy deciding which sushi or sashimi to order (they offer combo plates as well as a numerous individual selections so you can order the specific pieces and quantities you want). Love Boat Sushi also offers a great selection of rolls (see photos).
Love Boat Sushi is a fun place to celebrate a birthday (there were two when we were there).
The lights dine, the music comes on , and the staff all gather around clapping and singing.
And of course the whole restaurant gets into the act. A birthday at Love Boat Sushi is a good way to celebrate...or be embarrassed.
In addition to their restaurant in San Marcos, Love Boat Sushi can be enjoyed in Oceanside and Ranch Bernardo.
