Five law enforcement agencies kicked off a campaign to give away 400 Club steering-wheel locks to owners of vehicles most targeted by thieves. This free offer is to help prevent the most target vehicles in this community. The theme is if you lock it you'll keep it. This is the list of the Top 10 most stolen vehicles:

-- The Club lock is a steel bar that clamps onto a steering wheel and prevents it from turning. It is highly visible deterrent to crimes. The local sheriff department and the CHP are also campaigning along with the City of Chula Vista to help stamp out the high level of stolen vehicles. Officers will seek out frequently stolen models in heavy trafficked areas such as shopping malls, trolley stops and beaches and either hand the drivers the device or give them a flier that tells them where they can pick one up.
