Today as I contemplate Thankful Thursday, I decided that I take for granted, and yet, am very thankful for the beauty that is Mother Nature.  We live in a very scenic and diverse area.  Within 100 mile radius we can drive to the high mountains with beautiful and majestic trees, lush meadows and lakes.  We can also drive to some of the hottest parts of the Mojave Desert, along with it's Joshua Trees, mesquite bushes and arid landscape.  We also can be at 3 National Parks, a National Monument and almost reach Lake Powell and the Glen Canyon Dam.

Mother nature has some beautiful scenery for us to enjoy, it is up to us to stop and enjoy it!

Definitely a different landscape than I am used to as a Virginian.  Very nice.  Love the picture in the middle of the three.

Hi Tony & Darcy, the scenery in your photos is beautiful.  I can picture that photo in the middle as a great piece of framed art!

Tony and Darcy you do live in a beautiful area.  Yes, the most stunting sites can be found in nature.
