I received an e-mail from Fran Peterson of Cornerstone Lending in Oklahoma City late yesterday confirming this report.

Via Kellie Morrissey Colorado Realtor (Keller Williams Realty Success LLC):

I just got word from my Mortgage Banker, that the bill didn't pass which included the paperwork for the Tax Credit extension.

Home-buyers who are looking for a paperwork extension would be denied.  The Senate approved the jobs bill, which included the language for the tax credit extension, but were defeated by the Republicans.

Has anyone else heard this to be true?
