Now is a great time for buying a home!!!  Inventory is large.  Many homes to choose from.   Seller's are more flexible and negotiating  more.

Buying                                                                                                                  Renting

Tax write-off                                                                              No tax write-off

Housing expense may never go up                                               Rent can go up anytime

You can use, decorate, make changes as you see fit                      You must get permission to make changes

You can build large equity as your home appreciates                      No equity, your money is gone for good

You are not at the mercy of your landlord                                      You can be evicted

You house is a home, not a temporary living situation                    Your living situation is always temporary

Are we getting the word out????

always good to visualize.  It's always nice to be able to hang a picture without worrying about that deposit you put down on the apartment....

Kids love to bring their friends over to their house..where mom is planting a rock garden and humming a song.  Where dad is sawing and hammering the new tree house into position.  Where the christmas tree sits in that corner of the family home living room and where Spike sleeps on his special bed out on the porch.  Ahhhh home.  Pass the ice teas as we sit a spell on the rear patio Nora!  Good post!  Real estate is a great hedge against inflation and sometimes the only money (equity) a family is able to "save".

In todays market you have to get the word out to these overlooked markets when everything was booming.

We manage rentals AND do sales. Many of our tenants will NEVER buy, because 1) they have lousy credit 2) they have no money for closing costs much less a down payment 3) they move around too often to want to own 4) they don't want the responsibility
We encourage tenants to buy, but some just aren't the type, and some who would like to just can't get it together.
