Silly Saturday Afternoon Post...
When one reads through the beginning chapters of the "Good Book" it certainly can get quite sexy at times. You know, with all that begetting going on and all. Who begot whom, and who did what and why... Whew! Sure were a whole lotta shenanigans going on way back then. But then, nothing has changed over the past 6,000 years, has there?
The early chapters of the "Book" also have some interesting stories. Take the flood for instance. No where did I see where chipmunks were on the big boat's manifest. You know they talk about birds, clean and unclean animals. Who slipped rodents in? Maybe, somebody scrawled something that kinda sorta looked like that. Who knows?
And then after the flood, the command was given to be fruitful and multiply. Lordy! I sure hope He knew what He was doing. I mean, with these little boogers begetting and running through the multiplication tables like there's no tomorrow, I think that I'd best begetting me another trap for my relocation program...

Helping YOU Help Others Live THEIR American Dream
so, Michael, are you saying you have a growing family of chipmunk on your property???
You are having a problem with little 'chippy' & friends aren't you Michael!?
Hello Michael and most of these creatures are so cute, but can they damage things!
VB ;-)
PS - I just plugged your name at my post!
Mike,
I have a friend who does the same thing with relocation...only he paints their tails orange before he lets them go to see if they return.

Michael, funny post! We don't have chipmunks, but have seen the fattest groundhog in our backyard....I haven't seen him recently, probably because my big chocolate lab, is always around his hole. So I am hoping he moved on to another spot preferably in another county.
Chipper prob ain't the half of it. I don't think I've seen so many. So far I have captured 23 chips, 2 squirrels and 14 birds. I hope the chips & squirrels are enjoying their new homes...
I have nothing to do on a Saturday night but read your blog post? Hmm....
Well, as long as I'm over here...chipmunks and squirrels are rats with fluffy tails. Put them all on a garbage barge , ohhhh, I mean ark, and they'll be happy and so will we.
Gotta go, the wine glass is calling.
Michael, We lived in North Carolina for a couple of years and backed up to a small lake with some huge turtles. We had a relocating turtle program going on while we were there as they ate the baby birds.
. I really enjoy this insight, I never really looked at it this way before...
Hi Michael ...along with the people and animals of the past being fruitful ...todays Squirrels are just keeping up tradition :O))
Love your Story :O)
I had some woodchucks on my property. They entered the witness protection program.
I've got chipmunks that burrow through my mulch in my flower beds. It's shocking what a mess they can make in such a short amount of time!
