Moncton Awarded an A minus for Best Deals in Real Estate from MoneySense Magazine

The Moncton area was awarded one of only two A's in all of Canada for Best Deals in Real Estate.

Housing in the Metro Moncton market (Moncton - Dieppe - Riverview) is indeed affordable. People are moving here from far and near for affordable housing and the quality of life.

The average sale price in the Metro Moncton market is running around the $170,000 mark so far this year.

And new housing sales make up 25% (that's one in four) of all residential MLS® sales.

Read the MoneySense article.

Then read about what a buyer client from the UK whom I represented  has to say about housing prices and the quality of life here in the Moncton area.

I read both articles Larry, and the value for money seems unbelievable.

From the news I'm aware of the major snow storms Moncton receives, but do you get much humidity with the summer heat Larry?

Thank you Harry.

Believe it John. Yes we get snow, but as weather systems move up the Atlantic we also get winter thaws. Actually July is the most humid month and we get about a week to ten days in total of high humidity in July.

Check out the Weather Network stats for Moncton compared to Port Moody. We are three degrees latitude farther South than you.

While Moncton wins out on value for money in real estate (hands-down), Port Moody stats are more appealing to me from a weather perspective.

The lifestyles would probably be quite different also.
