In 1979 Mexico's state owned oil company, Petróleos Mexicanos, or Pemex,
had it's own catastrophic event,
it took almost 10 month's to plug & 140 million gallons later!
What would this do our coast since it is much closer?
Fred Aminzadeh, a professor at the University of Southern California Center
for Integrated Smart Oil Fields, previously employed by Unocal Corp.
has estimated worst case scenario.
"The well is never successfully plugged, and the well can flow for more then a decade"!
Ok now we are talking major catastrophic event!

"We don't know when that thing is going to stop, that thing that is leaking."
"we can be sitting on this thing for a life time?"
That is the most horrific answer one could possibly think of!
Does he know something we don't?
What would happen to the Gulf, It could be the next dead sea!
Beach property in the Gulf will be next to plummet?
