For those of you who love fireworks and might have missed the Annual Town of Ramapo Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks at Rockland Community College this past Sunday, not to worry. You can still watch some great displays every night this weekend, beginning with Thursday evening (at Nanuet High School).
Here's a list of some of the best fireworks displays in Rockland County this week-end.
Nanuet, July 1, 8 p.m. Fireworks Display at Nanuet High School. Rain date: July 8. Free. (845) 639-2000.
Haverstraw, July 2, 9:30 p.m. Come and join the fun at the Town of Haverstraw Fireworks at Bowline Point Park. Rain date: July 3. Free. (845) 429-2200.
Nyack, July 4, 9:00 PM. Enjoy the Annual Fireworks Display at Memorial Park preceeded by Rock Concert to begin at 8:00 PM. Free. (845) 358-0548.
Pearl River, July 4, 7 p.m. Annual Pearl River Holiday Concert & Fireworks will be held at the Gazebo, Central Avenue. Fireworks begin at 9:45 PM (Rain date 7/5). Free. (845) 536-3639 or (845) 359-5100. www.orangetown.com
West Haverstraw, July 4, 8 – 10:30 p.m. Fireworks Cruise - Departing from Haverstraw Marina, West Haverstraw at 8:00 p.m., returning to Haverstraw Marina at 10:30 p.m. The Commander Cruise Boat goes north to Peekskill Bay to view the fireworks. Cost is $15.00 for children (5-12), $20.00 for seniors (62+) and $25.00 for adults. (845) 534-7245 or (845) 534-1083.
