Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital and Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Henersonville NC

Western Carolina Regional Animal HospitalLocated at 205 North Highland Lake Road, the Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital has been open for a little over one year.  Their location is just south of Downtown Hendersonville. Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital

We have many good Veterinary Doctors in the area, but until we got the Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital, we had no emergency facilities. If one of our pets was in distress or in an accident after hours, we would have taken them to a hospital in Asheville. REACH has been a great provider for our emergencies, but the drive to Asheville was long, and with a sick or injured pet, was quite stressful to drive.

So the Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital has been a very welcome addition to the Hendersonville area. I have been lucky enough to not need the services so far, and I love my current vets and will be loyal to them. But I am ever so grateful to know that if there is a need I have a place I can go in an emergency that is close and open 24 hours to emergencies.

Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital's office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:30. But they are open 24/7 for emergencies. You can see a virtual tour of the facilities.

If you are new to the area and need a new vet, this may be the place to come. You can read about the Owners and the staff at Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital.

Our family pet, a minature schnauzer named Max, developed a very serious blood disorder and was within hours of dying, according to our vet. The illness required he be hospitalized and given a whole blood transfusion along with medications and fluids. It developed very quickly, and since he is our first dog we didn't know what to do. The staff at Western Carolina Regional Veterinary Emergency Hospital were excellent cartakers. We felt very comfortable that if Max was going to have a chance it was going to be with professionals who demonstrated a genuine concern for him like these people did. Max also seemed to sense that and seemed to take to the caregives. I am very thankful that they are there. God bless those folks.

Phil,

I am so glad that you had such a good experience with this clinic. Doctors Owen and Rosen have been fantastic for my pets. They brought back one of my cats and my 12 year old dog from deaths door so I am so indebted to them. They continue to be a great and valuable assett to the Hendersonville community!

It is good to read about emergency veterinarians that are able to save many pets from the brink of death. It makes me think of the amazing care my old dog got when she developed bloat. Luckily she is alright, and I am grateful for great care such as this.

I've been looking everywhere for a good vet that I can rely on at times in need. I've just had way too many close calls with my dogs, and I really need to make sure that they vet I find is 24 hours. Do you guys know where I could go for a good 24 hour vet?
