I posted a blog on this subject yesterday and received very little feedback on it. I know that in today's real estate and lending environment it is crucial that we all have great relationships with each one of our business partners. I want to hear from as many agents out there as possible on this topic, what do you do when a lender calls you? I know what usually happens is you say I have a lender I work with already....right? Why would you not at least meet up and see what they have to offer? They might have a niche program that your other lender does not have. I know that I am very persistent and do not take no for answer, I have called some agents for months and finally got a face to face meeting. Now most of them I wok with on a daily basis. I guess the moral of the story is give people a chance and at least take a minute to talk to them. If a loan officer is aggressive enough to keep calling on you after you blew them off then I think that is worth a meeting. If you only knew the war stories I have from calling on agents you would have a good laugh. I have been told quote "I do not need any more lenders" from agents on Active Rain in my own market!! Unbelievable seeing I am a local bank right here in town with a great reputation. Others in my own market from Active Rain did not enough have the courtesy of sending me a reply email?? So someone please tell me.....Why do some agents think they are so high and mighty??? The lenders are the ones who get you paid!!

Thank you,

Patrick Chicklinski
