I don't claim to know everything. In fact, you can't know everything! The President has advisors as do other major figures. This is why I love Active Rain. I'm straightforward with my clients "from the get go" and let them know that if I don't have an answer to their question, I will get back to them with the right answer by the end of the day at the latest...usually within an hour. I have learned over the course of time that your clients appreciate your honesty and hard work when you lead them in the correct direction. So many times, I see people that BS through a scenario with their client and they are just as lost as the client. Instead, use networks such as Active Rain, your collegues and so on to lead your clients in the right direction. The internet can be a great source for information, but it can also be misleading. Knowing who the information is coming from is just as important as the information itself! Not knowing may not be as drastic of a circumstance as the doctors above, but we lead our clients through one of the largest financial decisions that many of them will make in their lives and we owe it to them!
