For those of us who live in places where the winters are harsh summer is a time of celebration.  We go out more and in my case I mostly don't want to be inside at all.  My office as an entrance to the great out doors and I like to leave the door open and I like to work on the back porch.

Going out for ice cream is fun too and this time of year no one is wearing boots or mittens.

In the evening the parks are full of people. I am not the only one who wants to be outside.

It is also road construction seasion but we don't talk about that.

Flowers bloom everywhere and hamburgers taste better because we get to sit outside and eat them.

I love summer!

It does fly by really fast, we have to make the best of it while it's here.  That burger is amazing!

Teresa,

"back porch" When I worked out of our Paw Paw, Michigan home I loved working out of our screened in gazebo at the waters edge!

Moving to Nevada I love working out of our boat on Lake Mead.

I think you've explained enhancing job satisfaction.

I hear you Teresa!  When the summers are short, people seem to go out on mass and enjoy all that this season has to offer.

In Eugene, Oregon summer marks the beginning of consistently blue skies.  There is so much to do and see that summer and fall aren't long enough to take it all in.  It's tough to stay inside and work some days, isn't it?
