Sharon, this event has been on my list in the past, but something always seems to come up to prevent me from making it. Thanks for the photos, they have inspired me to try harder to make it to the beach next year.

Irene:  Not exactly...but I do know that they had only 21 hours to do it.  So, that's the most time they could have spent on their masterpiece.

Steve:  It's something you really should try to see next year.  They look pretty cool in the pictures, but so much better in person.

Roger:  I did enjoy it and they are very talented.  It's really amazing when you see them up close and see the detail.  By the way...I had that piece of pizza for you today.  It was delish.

How creative they are with such a different medium like sand. How long are they on display?

Amazing size and detail in these sculptures. It looks like the cat in the lower left hand corner has some social media icons in it.

Cheron:  Thank you!

Myrl:  It's pretty cool to see them at work.  The detail is amazing.

Lee & Carol:  They are only there until tomorrow morning.  (Wed. 6/30)  There is night lighting for anyone who wants to stop by this evening.

Kathy:  I hope you get the chance to go.  I would love to see pictures!

John:  It has the subscribe, facebook, and twitter logos.  They were all so creative, I would not have wanted to be a judge!

Hi Sharon, I am always amazed at the talent of creating art out of sand. Somehow I do wish there was a way to save some of these amazing creations. Well done and really enjoyed that great talent and great photos.

These are totally awesome Sharon, so much talent! I was hoping you would post them, I really like the dragon slithering over the castle and the last one of the person w/ (hair?) in flames, very cool.

Cynthia:  The features are so detailed.  It is hard to believe it's sand and not clay.
