Eastern Loudoun County 4th of July Weekend Events
Living in DC's backyard or suburbs we have a privileged to enjoy the capital's firework. If do not plan to go to capital there are plenty of events planned around the area one can join to celebrate the Independence day!!
Earlier Celebration:
Dulles Town Center: Located in Sterling, the Dulles Town Center or your Dulles mall will celebrate on Saturday, June 30th from 6:30-9:30 PM. Event includes activities, performances by the band, entertainment, food and followed by fireworks. Visit DullesTownCenter
South Riding: Located in Chantilly, one of the largest community in the area will celebrating traditional way with parade, picnic and fireworks the South Riding will host its Independence day event on July 3th from 6 PM to 10 PM. Visit SouthRiding.
RiverCrest: As a resident of this community over a decade I can assure you nothing is left out for a phenomenon celebration of Independence day. Located in Potomac Falls, the event kicks off on July 3rd in the morning with parade and followed by tons of games prices, food & drinks. Visit: RiverCrest
The Serling Golf, Swim and Tennis Club: On July 1st at Sterling Blvd the club will celebrate the Independence day with food, drinks & fireworks from 7:30 PM. Visit SterlingGofClub
On the July 4th Day
Ida Lee Park: One of my favorite spot in the Leesburg area for 4th of July celebration. The event kicks off in the morning around 10 AM with parade in the town and finishes with a grande finale of fireworks. Visit: IdaLeePark
Claude Moore Park: Located in Sterling, a day event will be celebrated at the Claude Moore Park. Activities throughout the day include hands-on nature activities outside Frogshackle Nature Center, patriotic craft making, whipped cream pie eating contest, demonstrations by Reptiles Alive!, performances. Ashburn Village: Ashburn Village will celebrate the day with kick the day with traditional parade, followed by a pool party & fireworks at the closing. Visit: AshburnVillage
